lynn disagrees with the score for Bama Foods Original Recipe Apple Butter (29 oz).

Lynn feels that the score should be A (93-100).

The reason is: This is the ONLY apple butter that taste like apple butter.
We are big eaters of apple butter and this is the only one that we will buy but we are having trouble finding it in our area. We live outside of Birmingham, Al and have been unable to find this brand of apple butter in any of our area markets. We have looked as far as Gadsden--Pelham and Jasper. Nothing. This is an excellent product and it should be more available.

This product is rated D because of the addition of high fructose corn syrup and natural flavorings. High fructose corn syrup is one of the major contributors to the obesity epidemic in our country, and for more about our concerns about "natural flavorings," please click here: Natural Flavors <www.foodfacts.com/controversial/natural-flavoring> . The short explanation is that "natural flavorings" can refer to any number of chemicals or combination of chemicals which the manufacturers do not have to disclose.

addition of chemicals or sweeteners.
