Girth disagrees with the score for Massel Instant Turkey Gravy Mix (4.9).
Girth feels that the score should be A (93-100).
The reason is: I bought this product and found it is far better than any other product of its kind. It has lower salt, lower sugar and tastes great. You say the ingredients are controversial - this doesn’t mean they are bad - it just means you havent bothered to find out the details - I looked into the ingredients and theres nothing controversial about them - how about publishing a spec?

We identified two controversial ingredients in this product, and we have informational pages on both of them. “Flavors Vegetable” falls into the category of “flavoring,” which is controversial because it allows manufacturers to hide what they are actually putting into the product. “Vegetable Flavors” does not need to include vegetables; it can contain any number of chemicals that the manufacturer chooses not to disclose. We find that to be controversial in its lack of transparency, and in the potential inclusion of ingredients that our members may wish to avoid. Please see for more information: www.foodfacts.com/controversial/natural-flavoring

The other item is “yeast extract.” That is a synonym for MSG, or Monosodium Glutamate, which is well established as a controversial ingredient. More information is available here: www.foodfacts.com/controversial/monosodium-glutamate-msg
