Sorbet is a healthy, refreshing dessert...sometimes. As with all things, you have to read the label in order to pick the best choice of the food you are about to eat. We've taken a look at the best and worst sorbets out there and here's what we found.
Sharon's Mango Sorbet gets a B for its short list of natural ingredients (it's also fat free): bit.ly/1auUMAB
Edy's Whole Fruit Coconut Sorbet, despite it's misleading brand name, contains various artificial ingredients and is not fat free, so we've given it an F: bit.ly/12KQNhI
Sorbet is made from fruit. It should be as natural as possible and since fruit is fat free, sorbet should contain no fat in it, but Edy's Whole Fruit contains 3 g of fat per serving, 2 of which are saturated. This is an example of a deceitful food product and the purpose of FoodFacts.com is to give our audience the knowledge they need to make healthier decisions.
