ingredient information
Rice Brown Syrup
Brown rice syrup is a sweetener derived from rice. It is used mainly as a healthier alternative to high fructose corn syrup in organic food products. In infant formulas, brown rice syrup is often the main ingredient. Although brown rice syrup is produced from natural sources, it can be harmful due to the high concentration of arsenic found in brown rice. Researchers suggest that arsenic exposure early in life may affect infants' health during childhood as well as in adult life.
