Iron Reduced
Mineral that helps with creation of hemoglobin, and helps hold oxygen in the blood. Iron, along with B12 and Folate, creates new blood cells. Ferrous Sulfate is a common term used in the food industry for Reduced Iron. Iron can be found in natural sources such as; Beef, Baked Potatoes, Clams, Soybeans, Eggs, Fish, and many green leafy vegetables. Deficiency symptoms include; Anemia, dry coarse hair, dysphagia, dizziness and hair loss. Generally considered non-toxic if under 75mg daily. Higher doses can cause abdominal cramps, vomiting & diarrhea. Severe overdoses of iron can be fatal.
